Māla Girl Broths was inspired from two gurus who I refer to as Mother Spice and Father Fat.
Mother Spice is the queen of creating signature spices! Certified Nutritionist and Dietician don't even begin to say how incredible this woman is. When I first met Pam, we both knew we were destined to collaborate together. I will never forget one of our first holiday gift exchanges. I had created a rosemary infused sea salt and she was getting started on creating her signature line of spices! Similar yet different we were. We began collaborating on projects through the years and her spices continued to grow and be a success. You can taste them at select restaurants around the country.
As the spice blends continued to blossom, I was introduced to Father Fat...the name says it all. Fat is even MORE flavor! Once I began working with these signature searing spices.. the AHA moment happened. Everything I had worked on brought me here. I worked diligently to find a way to create a just add water broth concept to keep operations simple for restauranteurs as well as the at home food hipster. Each of our broths is a customized blend of up to 30 different herbs, vegetables and spices!

About Māla Girl
Cooking is very close to my heart and soul in many ways. I spent my grade school years cooking with my mom. She was quite the passionate recipe collector. As we would cook, she would tell me her dream to have a gourmet food shop and making delicious sandwiches to go. Unfortunately, she was not able to live out that dream and passed on before I turned 13. I know in my heart and soul that she is by my side even today.
Cooking has been a passion for me, and has since turned into a career. Growing up in the research and development side of the food scene, I have created a line of chef-driven classic and flavored broths that have heat and serve benefits, in more ways then one.
Food is a feeling and brings people together. Although we are passionate about plant based cooking, we are obsessed with food and enjoying it from its natural state. (no mystery sugars, hidden additives, bad fats etc). You should be able to know the names of the ingredient list. Each item should have a benefit. We want to share our passion for cooking and our flavors to you in a way thats simple. We did the work so you don't have to!
